Claude for healthcare and care

More time for care, with health data kept out.

Care teams are stretched, and too much of the day goes on admin. Claude helps with policy questions, training, rotas and everyday writing, so more time goes on care. Health information and care records stay out of it.

Our commitments

Sensitive data, handled with care.

  • Obligations first

We review your data protection and sector obligations before anything is set up, including an impact assessment where needed.

  • Admin, not care records

We focus on policies, training, rotas and everyday writing. Health information and care records stay out, and care decisions stay with your professionals.

  • A person always reviews

Drafts and answers are checked by a named member of staff before they are used.

  • Some uses aren't right

If a use is not appropriate for your setting, we will say so and leave it out.

Sound familiar?

Care teams are stretched. Paperwork shouldn't add to it.

  • 01

    Admin load

Policies, rotas, training records and emails that take time away from people.

  • 02

    Policy and compliance

Staff needing quick, accurate answers on policies and procedures.

  • 03

    Sensitive data

Health information that must never go into general AI tools.

Where Claude helps

Quick wins first. Bigger bets next.

These are some of the opportunities we typically find for healthcare and care providers. Your audit maps the ones that fit your business and puts them in order.

  • Clear templates and checklists

Incident report templates, checklists and guidance written in plain English, for staff to complete themselves.

  • General family updates

Newsletters, event and visiting information for families, with no individual details.

    Agree safe uses

Start with admin that needs no health or personal information, agreed by everyone.

  3. 03

    Set up carefully

Business plan, tight access and a clear usage policy.

  4. 04

    Train and review

Hands-on training, then regular reviews of how it is used.

Questions

Good questions.

Can we use Claude with health information?

We do not recommend putting health information, care records or anything that identifies a resident or patient into AI tools. We focus on work that needs none of it: policies, training, rotas, recruitment and general communications. If you have a genuine need beyond that, it is a separate project that needs a data protection impact assessment and specialist advice first.

Does Claude make clinical decisions?

No. We focus on administration, documentation and training. Clinical and care decisions stay with your professionals.
